MJ Housing Preservation Initiative is committed to the long-term preservation, development, and management of affordable housing. We focus exclusively on properties we own, maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements while prioritizing resident well-being, responsive service, and lasting community impact.

We also partner with nonprofits and mission-aligned organizations to preserve, redevelop, and expand access to affordable housing throughout Oregon.

Briarwood Manor

Keizer, OR

Briarwood Manor is a 10-unit HUD Project-Based Section 8 property serving low-income seniors in Keizer, Oregon. MJ Housing Preservation Initiative LLC completed a full preservation of the community in 2024 through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The renovation included upgrades to all unit interiors along with exterior improvements such as new siding, landscaping, walkways, and community spaces. The project ensures long-term affordability, improved accessibility, and enhanced quality of life for residents in a small, close-knit setting.

Anderlik Manor

Lebanon, OR

Anderlik Manor is a 20-unit USDA RD 515 property in Lebanon, Oregon, offering one-bedroom apartments for low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. In 2024, MJ Housing Preservation Initiative LLC completed a full preservation of the property using Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). The renovation included comprehensive upgrades to unit interiors as well as major exterior improvements—new siding, sidewalks, community spaces, office, landscaping, and more—enhancing both livability and long-term affordability.

Grants Pass, OR

Our Grants Pass portfolio includes 78 total 2-bedroom, 1-bedroom, and studio units across three sites: Jefferson Court, Victorian Arms, and Golden Rain. These communities offer HUD Project-Based Section 8 housing, managed with care to ensure long-term affordability, compliance, and resident satisfaction. MJ Housing Preservation Initiative LLC is actively pursuing Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) to fully renovate and preserve these properties, securing their affordability and livability for future generations.
